Mission Statement

Putnam Family and Community Services' mission is to enhance the potential for healing and growth in a responsive and dignified manner for residents of Putnam County and surrounding areas, regardless of ability to pay, so that they may better manage their personal lives and improve the quality of family and community living.

Values and Beliefs

PFCS treats each person who comes here for services as a "whole" human being. We embrace the belief that growth, change and responsiveness are key components for a quality driven mental health and chemical dependency treatment agency. We strive to dispel the myth that people with serious mental illness and chemical dependency issues must be content to remain ill throughout their lives and to function in a maintenance capacity within our mental health and chemical dependency system. We know and we believe that everyone, regardless of their disability, has the potential to realize their dreams and become active working members of our society.
